Maaike Verberk is the director of DEN, the Dutch Knowledge institute for digital transformation in the cultural sector. Maaike is responsible for the general strategy and has developed the DEN Academy with programmes for digital leadership in the cultural sector. Maaike is a Dutch member state representative of the Expert Group on a common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage.
Before working for DEN, Maaike was business manager at Toneelgroep Amsterdam and business director of STRP, Art and Technology Festival in Eindhoven.
At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2022, Maaike Verberk will facilitate the workshop "Impact awareness for digital leaders in museums?" together with Nicole McNeilly on Monday 10 October.
