Pirjo Hamari is an experienced heritage professional who has been working with heritage management and policy-related questions at the Finnish Heritage Agency since 2001. In 2008 she started working as Director of Development in the Museum development unit, responsible for the direction and development of the national museum sector.
Her expertise covers museums, cultural heritage, intangible heritage, digital heritage management and access to content; policy development, co-operation and project management and evaluation.
At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2022, Pirjo Hamari will facilitate a workshop together with Eeva Teräsvirta on Monday 10 October.
