Trilce Navarrete

Trilce Navarrete (PhD) researches the economic and historic aspects of digital heritage. She writes extensively about the economics of museums, including A History of Digital Dutch Museums. She teaches the application of economic theory to understand arts and culture at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Navarrete advises several policy institutions on the creation and evaluation of digital heritage infrastructures. She is also elected for the second term as secretary of ICOM International Committee for Documentation (CIDOC).

Trilce was heavily involved in NEMO’s first study of the impact of Covid-19 on the European museum sector.
