Stephanie Bonnici

Stephanie Bonnici brings seven years of experience in the cultural and creative sectors, focusing on dialogue, policy, advocacy, arts, and community engagement to foster value creation and sustainable futures for communities. She is Malta's lead contact for the European Festivals Association (EFA) and the European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists (EFFEA) on behalf of ARC Research & Consultancy.

Stephanie has contributed to initiatives such as the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence’s ‘MEDinea’ (Mediterranean Incubator for Emerging Artists) and the Goethe Institut's structured dialogue with the European Commission ‘Voices of Culture’ (2021). As Changemaker for Culture Action Europe (CAE) in Brussels, she launched ‘Stories for Hope’ (2024) in Rotterdam.

Originally from Malta, she brings a young Mediterranean perspective to her active participation in European cultural networks, driven by meaningful collaboration and exchange. Now based in the Netherlands, she works with the European Cultural Foundation in Amsterdam to advocate for the ‘Cultural Deal for Europe’ campaign.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2024, Stephanie Bonnici will join the “Slam: Navigating Controversies” on Tuesday 12 November.
