International Training Courses

NEMO’s courses provide training on specific topics related to all aspects of museum work and are facilitated by international museum experts.

Upcoming International Training Course

  • Sustainability in cultural heritage
  • Caitlin Southwick, Founder and Executive Director of Ki Culture
  • 18, 26 May & 3, 11 June 2021. Each session is 2 hours long

In four 2-hour sessions, Caitlin Southwick and Ki Culture specialists will introduce the participants to the concept of sustainability in the culture sector. Those already familiar with sustainability will also benefit from the NEMO training since it also will include practical tools and resources for professionals - from Agenda 2030 to circularity, carbon footprint calculations, and decolonization.

This will be a deep-dive into sustainability, previously discussed by Caitlin Southwick at NEMO’s first online European Museums conference.
