The International Museology Association organized a presentation titled “Overview of Museums and Museology” as part of the May 18-24 Museums Week. In this presentation, the historical importance of museums, their social roles and new approaches in museology were discussed. In addition, information was provided for educational activities and career choices. The event attracted great interest from the participants.
