Travel grant scheme
NEMO provides its members with financial support for travel, accommodation and subsistence as a lump sum for various NEMO programmes.
Grants are available for the following activities:
- NEMO’s continuing education formats: Onsite trainings and workshops held several times a year. (Note: Grants are not available for online activities.)
- Study visits of the Working Groups.
- Participation in the annual NEMO European Museum Conference.
How to receive a grant and reimbursement
To receive a grant, members have to apply for the respective call for applications. Successful applicants will be selected by the NEMO office in consultation with the Executive Board.
Grants are transferred to the account of the grant holder as a lump sum after the activity, provided that the selected participant has appeared in person, signed the participation list and submitted a reimbursement sheet and feedback to the NEMO office. Individual invoices are not required.
Grant percentages
Consult each call for applications for the maximum grant amount since it varies depending on the activity. The final grant is based on the member’s country of residence, if they leave the country of residence and the travel distance.
