Selected organisations will receive one year of free membership (March 2025 – March 2026), gaining full access to NEMO’s resources and benefits. This opportunity allows participants to establish cross-border collaborations, promote their work internationally, and engage in professional development within the European museum sector. Members also benefit from insights into EU policies, funding opportunities, and the chance to contribute to collective advocacy efforts for museums.
As a trial member, you will have the opportunity to participate in NEMO’s training activities, where you can exchange knowledge and expertise with like-minded professionals. Participants can also join one of NEMO’s topic-specific Working Groups, enabling deeper engagement in specialised areas. Additionally, trial members receive two complimentary tickets to the NEMO European Museum Conference, providing a valuable opportunity for networking and learning.

Eligibility
Please review our membership categories to determine your eligibility. The programme is open to museums or organisations located in Member States of the Council of Europe. Please note that individual applicants and businesses are not eligible. Trial members do not have voting rights in the Annual General Meeting.
This year, we particularly welcome applications from organisations with experience or interest in museums and mental health and well-being. Five trial memberships are reserved exclusively for organisations based in Ukraine.
