If your organisation has been thinking about joining NEMO, now might be the moment. NEMO member organisations receive two free tickets to the NEMO European Museum Conference ‘Who cares? Museums, wellbeing, and resilience’, taking place from 26–28 October 2025 in Horsens, Denmark.

All member organisations receive two complimentary tickets to the annual NEMO European Museum Conference. These tickets (worth €400) are one of the many benefits of membership, which starts at €300 per year depending on annual income.

By becoming a NEMO member, your organisation joins a network connecting museum professionals across Europe. Members may apply to training sessions (free attendance and possibility to receive travel support), access tailored support for international collaboration, and the opportunities to join thematic Working Groups. You’ll also stay informed on EU cultural policies, funding calls, and cross-border projects. A membership also contributed to a strong, unified voice advocating for museums at both national and European levels.

Membership fees start at €300 per year, depending on your organisation’s annual turnover. The membership period runs from 1 January to 31 December. No individuals can join NEMO. Organisations based in the members states of the Council of Europe are eligible to join.
