On 10 December, the Creative Europe programme opened its call for proposals for applications for European Cooperation Projects. European Cooperation Projects provide funding for cultural and creative sector organisations of all types and sizes across Europe to collaborate on both sectoral and cross-sectoral initiatives.

European Cooperation Projects support projects involving organisations in the cultural and creative sectors of all sizes, including micro-organisations and small-sized organisations, and from different countries to undertake sectoral or cross-sectoral activities. There are three versions of the call: small, medium and large-scale projects. They should all should focus on one of the following objectives:

  • Objective 1 - Transnational creation and circulation: To strengthen the transnational creation and circulation of European works and artists.
  • Objective 2 – Innovation: To enhance the capacity of European cultural and creative sectors to nurture talents, to innovate, to prosper and to generate jobs and growth. Projects responding to this objective should be of capacity-building nature.

Deadline for submitting proposals to the European Commission: 13 May 2025
