Culture is recognised in the EU Agenda for 2019-2024

The EU strategic Agenda for 2019-2024, adopted on June 2019 in the European Council, outlines priorities for the next Commission and includes a promise to “invest in culture and our cultural heritage, which are at the heart of our European identity”.

Investment in culture is clearly recognised as a tool to build a fairer and more sustainable Europe in the social chapter of the Leaders’ Strategic Agenda for 2019-2024.
