NEMO spoke at event promoting skills learning for life

On 9 March 2022, NEMO gave a presentation at a peer learning activity for the Adult Learning Working Group of the Directorate-General of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. The activity was organised by the Skills Agenda unit of the European Commission.

Margherita Sani, Project Coordinator at NEMO, introduced the participant to how museums can support skills and learning for life. The main objective of the peer learning activity (PLA) was to consider how to engage those who currently are the furthest away from learning and most difficult to reach.

The European Skills Agenda1 emphasises the role of non-formal adult education for the benefit of individuals, the society and the economy. The Adult Learning Working Group is composed of representatives of EU Member states and candidate countries, as well as Norway and Iceland.
