How prepared is your museum to deal with cyber threats? Join a NEMO Webinar on 10 June from 10:00-11:00 CEST to discuss risks and how to stay secure online. The webinar will also highlight how AI is transforming cybersecurity and how museums can strengthen their digital resilience.

Cybersecurity is no longer just an IT-concern, it has become a strategic priority for every museum and organisation working with digital collections, cultural heritage, and sensitive data. In this NEMO Webinar facilitated by DEN, we will explore the essential principles of staying secure in an increasingly digital environment and discuss the key risks that organisations face today.

This one-hour webinar will also look at how AI is transforming the cybersecurity landscape. From new, AI‑driven threats that evolve faster than ever, to powerful defensive tools that help organisations detect, prevent, and respond to attacks more effectively. You’ll gain practical insights, real‑world examples, and clear guidance on how to strengthen your museum’s digital resilience.

  • Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory.

Meet the speakers

Natalie Fransen
Natalie is a cybersecurity advisor and community builder at DEN with a background in the cultural heritage sector. After spending five years working in a museum environment, she developed a strong understanding of the challenges organisations face in managing and protecting digital collections. This experience now supports her work in helping organisations strengthen their digital resilience and navigate emerging security risks. Natalie values clear communication, practical solutions and collaboration and she enjoys bringing people together to share knowledge and learn from one another.

Pascale Stomp
Pascale is an advisor at DEN working on AI, cultural data, data-driven working, and immersive technology. She studied History and went on to complete a master's in Cultural Data & AI, one of the first to graduate from that programme. Her background gives her a unique perspective on the intersection of cultural heritage and emerging technology. She believes AI in the cultural sector is most valuable when it's used thoughtfully, and that's what drives most of what she does at DEN.

Accessibility: We will enable the live transaction function that ClickMeeting provides. Each attendee can choose if they want to see captions displayed. Please note that the Live transcription feature does not run on mobile browsers or the ClickMeeting mobile app. We apologies in advance for the platform's sometimes poor caption technique. The recorded version will be published on YouTube, where the automatic closed captions/subtitles function usually works quite well.
