Finnish museums 2019: Facts and figures

The Finnish Heritage Agency recently published statistics from 2019 and Finnish had a record-breaking year with 7,6 million visits (2018: 7,1 million). The total expenditure on museum activities was about 265 million euros (2018: 250 million euros), more than 1,000 new exhibitions were opened and the museum's collections included at the end of 2019, a total of approximately 45,9 million objects (2018: 45,4 million).
