Update on conference fees

From 2026 onwards, the NEMO European Museum Conference will introduce a new participation model, including a conference fee for members as well as enhanced member benefits.

As the largest event in the NEMO calendar, the NEMO European Museum Conference has grown significantly in recent years and has become one of Europe’s key meeting points for museum professionals. To continue delivering three days of high-quality programming, diverse formats, and creating valuable opportunities for exchange while also addressing increasing organisational costs faced by both NEMO and the hosting organisation, we will as of 2026 introduce a conference fee for NEMO members.

We want to be transparent: this step is necessary to maintain and further develop the quality of the conference experience. At the same time, our members remain at the heart of NEMO. Therefore, we have ensured that representatives of NEMO member organisations benefit from a significantly reduced rate: 

  • NEMO member ticket: €110 (50% reduced fee)
  • Regular ticket: €220 

Member-exclusive early registration 

As of 2026, you also benefit from member-exclusive early access to registration, giving you the best chance to secure your preferred workshops, tours, and conference activities. 

  • Member early registration opens: Thursday 11 June
  • Please note: you will need your NEMO membership number to complete registration. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need assistance.
  • Public registration opens: 22 June
