One hundred years ago, in a fishing village facing south, a woman dared to take to the sea, seeking other geographies and ways of living. Left behind on land was a community that still awaits her return, as well as the stories she promised to bring from that faraway world. On the day marking the centenary of her departure, they decide to come together. While eagerly awaiting her return, they recover the threads of memories of what was left behind, looking at the places and the hands of those who build the present, and sharing the dreams that keep us moving forward. This is a community performance that invites the audience to explore the village of Sesimbra, navigating through sea stories and the fishing culture deeply rooted in this village.
