The Ajara Museum has been organizing the international “Museums and Globalization” conference for four consecutive years. This annual event aims to support the development of scientific research among scholars working in the humanities, social sciences, and related fields, as well as in museum studies and cultural tourism. A key goal of the conference is to foster international cooperation and collaboration among researchers from diverse countries and academic backgrounds. In line with this mission, the museum is currently preparing to host the next high-level international conference “Museums and Globalization” in September 2025. The event will bring together both local and international researchers in the fields of history, ethnography, cultural tourism, museum management, archaeology, and art, offering a dynamic platform for academic dialogue, knowledge exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
