President of H&M, Lila de Chaves-Chronopoulos, is the new President of the Teriade Museum of Modern Art, which was founded by Stratis Eleftheriadis-Teriade the renowned Greek-French Art Publisher in his native island Lesvos in 1979. The Museum is hosting a big collection of artist's books, the VERVE works of the emblematic painters Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani, Chagall, and others. Furthermore his wife Alice donated important elements of the Teriade collection to the Matisse Museum in Cateau Cambresis, France. The new BoT aims to develop extroversion and synergies with international cultural foundations and museums
