To support learning and exchange ahead of the NEMO European Museum Conference 2026: Human after all – Museums in the wake of AI, NEMO has launched a new Community Resource Hub bringing together resources recommended by conference participants and the wider museum community.

The conference, taking place from 11–13 October 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania, will explore how museums can navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and rapid technological change. As part of this conversation, the Community Resource Hub offers a growing collection of materials that can help museum professionals deepen their knowledge and discover new perspectives.

The hub includes recommendations across several different formats and topics, including:

  • Books on AI, ethics and digital transformation
  • Podcasts exploring technology, museums and society
  • Articles and studies on AI governance and sustainability
  • Videos and conference recordings
  • Blogs and websites focused on AI and cultural heritage
  • Online courses for developing AI literacy and digital skills
  • Communities of practice and professional networks
  • Projects advancing the use of digital technologies in the cultural heritage sector

The resources have been shared by museum professionals from across Europe and beyond, creating a community-driven collection that reflects a wide range of interests, experiences and levels of expertise.

A growing resource for the museum sector

The Community Resource Hub is intended as a living resource and will continue to expand as new recommendations are submitted. Conference participants are invited to contribute their favourite books, podcasts, courses, websites, projects and other resources through the conference registration process or by contacting NEMO directly.
