From October to December 2025, five museum professionals from across Europe are taking part in NEMO’s One to One Mentoring Programme. The initiative supports educators in museums by connecting them with experienced mentors from the UK, thanks to NEMO’s partnership with GEM – the Group for Education in Museums.

This autumn, NEMO is pleased to welcome five mentees from Austria, Croatia, Germany, Portugal, and Ukraine to the latest cycle of the One to One Mentoring Programme. Each participant is matched with a senior museum professional from GEM’s network, who provides tailored guidance through two to three online mentoring sessions.

The programme is designed to support museum educators in identifying and achieving professional development goals. Mentees bring their own experiences and aspirations to the sessions, while mentors offer tools, insights and encouragement to help navigate challenges and explore new approaches.

Participation is free of charge and exclusive to individuals active within NEMO member organisations. The mentoring experience is confidential, reflective, and focused on empowering museum professionals in their learning roles.
