Questions from EduMuz
- What were the key milestones that helped your network become stable and sustainable on a national level?
- What kind of support (financial, institutional, political) has been the most valuable for the development of your professional networks? How did you manage to secure the support?
- What worked to turn museum educators from simple participants into co-creators of the initiative?
WG LEM welcomes additional input from its members. Interested in contributing? Send your thoughts to office@ne-mo.org with the subject line 'EduMuz'.
About Working Group LEM – The Learning Museum
WG LEM is one of the active working groups within NEMO – the Network of European Museum Organisations. It focuses on museum education, lifelong learning, audience development, and intercultural dialogue. The group also explores how museums contribute to wellbeing and social impact.
WG LEM facilitates:
- Study visits to museums across Europe
- Research and reports on educational practices
- Workshops and guest sessions at NEMO’s annual European Museum Conference
- Webinars and collaborative discussions on emerging themes
Currently, WG LEM is investigating the intersection of health, wellbeing, and learning in museums, and hosted a dedicated workshop at the recent NEMO European Museum Conference in Horsens, Denmark (26–28 October 2025).
Open invitation to members
All WG LEM members are encouraged to reach out with questions, ideas, or proposals. Whether you're seeking support for a new initiative or interested in organising a networking session, WG LEM is here to help facilitate connections and foster collaboration across the museum education community.
