NEMO was represented by Project Officer Margherita Sani, who contributed to a roundtable discussion. The event focused on the practical implementation of innovative business models that foster participation and co-creation in the cultural heritage sector.
The RECHARGE project aimed to reinvigorate community participation as added economic value for cultural heritage institutions across Europe. By promoting experimentation and collaboration, the project set out to enhance the sector’s capacity to engage communities and ensure long-term sustainability. One of its key outcomes is the RECHARGE Playbook, a practical guide for cultural institutions seeking to build participatory practices, and a set of policy recommendations designed to support strategic decision-making at institutional and governmental levels.
