The common European data space for cultural heritage provides a rich data offer, a wide range of activities including tools, events and projects, and a vibrant community and committed network of partners. It also offers a suite of data space products - ranging from the Europeana Academy and training platform to the Statistics Dashboard and Europeana.eu.
The data space is one of 14 interoperable data spaces funded through the DIGITAL Europe Programme. As a flagship initiative, it plays a central role in Europe’s ambition to build a thriving, data‑driven society in which cultural heritage material can be accessed, used and shared reliably and responsibly.
Designed to support collaboration across borders, the data space brings together a wide range of tools, standards and frameworks that help institutions manage and share digital cultural heritage. It also fosters a vibrant community of cultural heritage professionals, Member State representatives and partner organisations contributing to its continuous development.
