New platform aims to empower cultural heritage through AI

The recently launched AI4Culture platform presents an opportunity in the Data Space for cultural heritage and for the cultural sector at large to access a diverse array of AI tools, datasets, and capacity-building materials designed to empower our community through artificial intelligence.

The goal of the platform is to equip professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts with the resources needed to seamlessly integrate AI into their daily workflows, discover creative applications, and address current challenges.

Earlier this year NEMO launched three recommendations for policymakers aiming to support museums to tap their full potential and to find their role in the rapid development of artificial intelligence. They were discussed and first presented at the international conference ‘Innovation and Integrity: Museums paving the way in an AI-driven society’.
