NEMO is honoured to contribute as a cooperation partner next to the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture, the Government of Poland, the Government of Germany, and other supporters. NEMO is also thrilled to see several of its Ukrainian members among the speakers: the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, Odesa National Fine Arts Museum.
The conference will address key issues facing the museum sector today, including:
- Culture as a political factor in times of crisis
- Ukrainian culture heritage: war legacy
- Lessons learned for museums: how to respond to the unforeseen
- Effective models of international museum cooperation
In addition to strengthening professional exchange, the gathering aims to increase the visibility of the cultural sector in the lead‑up to the Ukraine Recovery Conference taking place in Poland in summer 2026. It will create opportunities for Ukrainian museums to build or deepen partnerships with international institutions.
