International online seminar “Museums and People in the Mobile World”

During the seminar, which took place from 16-19 November 2020, experts from Russia, Brazil, Great Britain, Norway, Australia, Belgium, Canada, and Finland discussed important issues such as migration and mobility, as well as the role of culture in including people with migration experience and building a dialogue between representatives of different communities. Besides that, the experts discussed the use of migration topic in the Museum space. In particular, they spoke about the work of museums with personal stories, issues of identity, and perception of the other. The event gathered more than 300 participants. Recordings of all days of the seminar in English are available via ICOM Russia Facebook page.
