Isabella Ducros

Isabella Ducros is a freelance AI consultant, trainer, and researcher specializing in AI literacy, ethics, governance, and the applications of artificial intelligence in cultural heritage and museum contexts. She works across cultural institutions, universities, and companies throughout Europe, and has been selected by NEMO (Network of European Museum Organisations) as the lead researcher for a report on AI adoption in European museums. 

Her work spans practical implementation and critical reflection, from managing AI-powered digital accessibility platforms to designing and delivering AI training for museum professionals and heritage organizations. She has contributed to initiatives at the intersection of policy, ethics, and institutional practice, including the drafting of AI manifestos for cultural foundations. Isabella holds an interdisciplinary academic background in Philosophy, Art History, and Economics and Management.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2026, Isabella Ducros will facilitate the workshop “From principles to practice: Co-designing an AI Manifesto for your museum” on Tuesday 13 October.
