Janet Dugdale is a Trustee of the UK Museums Association and chairs its Ethics Committee. As a museum leader and independent consultant she works with and for museums, heritage and culture. Her leadership experience includes developing audiences, collections, exhibitions and capital projects, speaking on participative working, creating strategic partnerships, and advocating for heritage and museums with a people-based/storytelling approach.
Janet is a Fellow of the Museums Association, a member of Arts Council England’s Designation Panel and on the Heritage Network’s Expert Panel for England. She is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Research Centre for Museums & Galleries at the University of Leicester.
