Susanne Zils

Susanne Zils is passionate about the capacity of museums and their narrative power to bring about transformative forces for positive social, environmental and economic outcomes. While working as a consultant for museum planning and exhibition design at the Bavarian Office for Non-State Museums, she is taking up the challenge to support sustainable processes inside the museums.

She benefits from her experience gathered as a designer, trainer and project manager in Germany and on the African continent. Zils holds a diploma in interior architecture and has received a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Cooperation. In her master thesis she focused on exhibitions as relevant facilitators for systems thinking.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2022, Susanne Zils will facilitate the workshop "Survival of the fittest – 8 rules for interconnected thinking in museums" on Monday 10 October.
