Budget for Creative Europe is boosted by the European Parliament in the Post-2020 EU Budget Proposal

On 14 November 2018, the European Parliament voted to adopt the EU multi-annual financial framework 2021-2027 interim report. The proposed budget includes a substantial increase of the Creative Europe programme to €2.8 billion from €1.4 billion.

The overall EU budget 2021-2027 is still to be discussed by the European Council before a final decision on the future EU-budget will be reached. The European Council will meet on 13-14 December 2018, when Member States will hold a political debate on the MFF.
