LGBTIQ Equality Strategy 2020 – 2025

EU Anti-Racism Action Plan 2020 – 2025
In September 2020, the European Commission released its initial plan step up action against racism within the European Union. It highlights that racial discrimination remains a persistent issue, negatively impacting society as a whole. The report on the implementation of the EU Anti-Racism Action Plan:
- presents an overview of progress achieved in the implementation of the action plan;
- offers guidance to Member States on the development and implementation of effective national plans against racism.

EU Roma Strategic Framework for equality, inclusion and participation
In October 2020, the European Commission adopted the EU Roma Strategic Framework for equality, inclusion and participation, reinforcing its commitment to supporting Roma individuals living in the EU and beyond. This framework outlines a comprehensive three-pillar strategy aimed at fostering effective equality, socio-economic inclusion, and meaningful participation of Roma people.
To improve the situation of Roma communities, Member States adopted and communicated national Roma strategic frameworks to the European Commission. The latest implementation report evaluates the effectiveness and appropriateness of these frameworks in meeting the 2030 targets.
