Icons on glass from Sebes Valley in an innovative exhibition

The exhibition is organised within the project ”Innovative Techniques in Cultural Heritage Valorisation. The Icons on Sebeș Valley in the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography collection”, financed by the EEA Grants 2014-2021, within the RO-CULTURE Program, a project realized by the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania in cooperation with the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and the Norwegian Association NUDA AS. The exhibition brings together a number of 66 Romanian icons painted on glass in the collection of the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography, from Sebeș Valley area, pieces of great value both scientifically and artistically.
