Join ECHOES Webinar for German-Speaking Cultural Heritage Institutions

ECHOES invites German-speaking cultural heritage professionals to join an online webinar on 14 January 2026 hosted by the Austrian National Library. The session will introduce the ECHOES project and its role in shaping the future of cultural heritage through digital collaboration.

NEMO is a partner of the ECHOES project, which is developing the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH). This shared platform aims to facilitate collaboration among heritage professionals and researchers, enabling them to modernise workflows and processes.

The webinar will take place on 14 January 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET and is dedicated to German-speaking Cultural Heritage Institutions.

Participants will:

  • Gain insights into ECHOES and the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH)
  • Discover ongoing digital initiatives in German-speaking countries
  • Engage in networking and exchange with cultural heritage professionals across borders

Grant opportunity to boost digital capacity in cultural heritage

Right now there is a grant opportunity open targeted at museum umbrella organisations and cultural heritage networks to lead projects focused on skills development, capacity building, and expanding the ECCCH community, particularly among small and medium-sized Cultural Heritage Institutions.

The European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) Cascading Grants offer up to €29,800 per project to fund 20 initiatives that strengthen digital capacity in the cultural heritage sector. Eligible activities include workshops, training materials, info events, surveys, help desks, and creative formats like hackathons. The deadline to apply is 30 January 2026 at 23:59 CET.
