NEMO joins kick-off meeting for Horizon Europe project TOWCHED

From 23-24 January 2025, NEMO participated in the kick-off meeting for TOWCHED in Valencia, Spain. The meeting marked the official launch of this three-year initiative (2025-2027), which explores the role of inclusive, arts-based, and heritage-centred education in fostering sustainable and just development.

The Horizon Europe-funded cooperation project TOWCHED is guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and a Human Rights-Based Approach, ensuring that education and cultural heritage serve as catalysts for positive societal change. The project unites a diverse group of stakeholders from across Europe to:

  • Develop practical tools for educators and cultural professionals.
  • Promote lifelong learning through arts and heritage.
  • Build a strong community of practice rooted in European cultural heritage.
