Opening of the Museum of Orphaned Objects (MOO)

The Museum of Orphaned Objects (The MOO) is set to launch in Leiden as a pop-up exhibit beginning March 29, 2024. It will showcase a diverse array of items that have been de-accessioned by several Dutch museums. The MOO aims to offer these objects to the public, marking the final stage of the de-accessioning process. All showcased items will be available for acquisition through museumdepotshop.nl, with proceeds going towards enhancing the collections of the participating museums.
