Brexit’s Impact on the Culture and Creative Industries

Report indicates that neither the UK nor the EU Member States will benefit from the UK’s departure from the EU.

The report investigates possible changes in funding as well as the regulatory environment and the workforce after the UK’s EU departure. Further, the report is calling for the UK Government to make "it an objective of negotiations to secure the UK’s ongoing participation in Creative Europe".

A section of the report is dedicated to Creative Europe. A clear majority of statements gathered from organisations within the culture and creative sector, for instance the Museums Association, call for the UK to stay within the programme. Evidence finds that the programme makes it easier to form partnerships and that it functions as a catalyst for further investment.
