NEMO discussed community engagement at the Interpret Israeli National Museum Conference

On 25 January 2020, NEMO Secretary General Julia Pagel delivered an online presentation and Q&A at the fourth Interpret IL Israeli National Conference on Heritage Interpretation. She discussed how museums may connect to audiences during the pandemic.

With a certain focus on how museums can connect to their communities and audiences during the crisis, she presented findings and recommendations from NEMO’s follow-up survey on the impact of Covid-19 on the museum sector. The presentation provoked a vivid discussion and helped the conference participants to understand and compare the situation in Israel to that in Europe.
