From 10-11 October 2019, the NEMO Working Group LEM - the Learning Museum is meeting in Budapest and Szentendre, Hungary, for its yearly study visit. The participants will get to visit several museums while learning more about Hungarian education practices in museums.

The LEM Working Group (WG) leader Margherita Sani welcomes the WG members and other participants with a fully packed programme. For instance, they will get to learn about Skanzen’s award-winning social programmes like the Dementia Programme and the Integrated Camp. Zita Szabadhegyi, PR officer and MOKK coordinator, Sopron, Macskakő Múzeum, will discuss community video making as a new tool in museum education. Kinga Veress and Anikó Korenchy-Misz will explain how the Museum of Trade and Tourism engage with young and old people at the museum.

Please apply to the study visit by sending your resume and motivational letter to office@ne-mo.org before 28 June 2019. Members of NEMO participate free of charge (attach proof of membership with your application) and are covered by travel grants. Non-members can participate for a fee of 250 Euro.
