World Heritage Committee Meeting Closes - 21 new inscriptions to UNESCO World Heritage list

The 10-day meeting of the World Heritage Committee closed on 12 July with the inscription of 21 new sites on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

Additionally, the Committee withdrew three sites from the List of World Heritage in Danger and added a new site - the historic centre of Vienna. 54 sites are now on the List of World Heritage in Danger.
