Ana Salvador

Ana Salvador joined the House of European History in 2021, to work on the temporary exhibition “Throwaway”. As project manager, she liaised with local experts in the field of waste – who contributed to the content development through a participatory process – and collaborated with other museums to develop a pan-European partnership and co-create digital content. She holds a Master in Communication, Culture and IT from ISCTE in Lisbon.

Previously she worked in culture and education sectors as international relations and communications officer. In her free time, she occasionally sews outfits using discarded museum banners and customizes old t-shirts with rubbish-themed slogans.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2023, Ana Salvador will contribute to the Slam with her presentation "Operation Rubbish!" on Tuesday, 21 November.
