At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2023, Emek Yılmaz-Sancar will be part of the panel "Taking Action on Climate" on Tuesday, 21 November.
Emek Yılmaz-Sancar
Emek Yılmaz-Sancar (Ph.D.) is the founder and coordinator of the Museums for Future Türkiye local chapter. She joined MFF in May 2021 and then founded the MFF Türkiye in October 2021 with great support and encouragement from the MFF International Team. In 2016, she completed her comparative doctoral study at Bursa City Museum and Seoul History Museum on city museums and identity construction in the field of sociology in South Korea. She is a member of the Association of Museum Professionals Organization in Istanbul, and ICOM Türkiye.
