Gaja Zornada

Gaja Zornada is the director and head curator of the Computer History Museum Slovenia, where she leads the preservation and interpretation of the region's computing legacy. A digital entrepreneur and researcher, she bridges deep historical knowledge with active engagement in cutting-edge developments, including AI's growing role within cultural institutions. Her leadership blends organisational vision with hands-on curatorial practice, guiding the museum's strategy through collaborative iterations in multidisciplinary teams focused on exhibitions, media archaeology research, and public engagement. She advocates for grassroots creativity in shaping European digital identity and for recognising overlooked community narratives of digital culture.

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2026, Gaja Zornada will join the panel "Leading the shift: Museums, AI and institutional strategy" on Tuesday, 13 October.
