Sofie Taes

Sofie Taes graduated from KU Leuven (Belgium) in musicology and Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Currently she works at the Institute for Cultural Studies (CS Digital) at KU Leuven. She has curated a wide range of editorials and virtual exhibitions for Europeana and has gained expertise in a wide range of user engagement strategies and practices. Recent projects include Europeana XX - Century of Change (CEF), WEAVE (CEF), inDICEs (Horizon 2020) and CitizenHeritage (Erasmus). 

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2022, Sofie Taes will facilitate the workshop "Towards digital heritage with a purpose" together with Aleksandra Janus, Zuzanna Ciesielska and Frederik Truyen.
