Urška Repar

Urška Repar (1988) is a curator for cultural anthropology at the Museum of Recent History Celje. Her research interests span through the fields of sustainable developement, popular culture, urban life, and feminism. She has curated two exhibitions on the theme of sustainability - "Invisible life of Waste" and "No way are we throwing things away", and is participating in the European project Throwaway: the history of a modern crisis, coordinated by the House of European History.

Through different programmes for visitors she pursues to integrate the topics of urbanism, sustainability, recycling, and intergenerational responsibility into the museum environment. 

At NEMO’s European Museum Conference 2023, Urška Repar will contribute to the Slam with his presentation "Inexpensive, Economical, Practical ... Sustainable!" on Tuesday, 21 November.
