Contribute to a NEMO Report Collecting European Innovative Cases on how Museums and Creative Industries Collaborate

The NEMO Working Group Museums and Creative Industries is collecting innovative case studies from across Europe on how museums and creative industries successfully work together. 15 case studies will be presented in a report, which will be showcased at THE ARTS+ festival in October. Deadline to participate is 15 August 2018.

Think Tank Creative Museum has, as the initiator and leader of the NEMO Working group Museums and Creative Industries, taken upon itself to coordinate the selection of case studies so as to prepare the mentioned report.

Contributors to the case study are asked to present a case with 100 words and three high-resolution pictures as well as to answer three simple questions in relation to the selected case study (product or service):

  1. Why is it important for a museum to cooperate with creative industries? (Or, if you are a representative of creative industries – why is it important to cooperate with a museum?)
  2. What are the main challenges of working together?
  3. What is the added value of cooperation between museums and creative industries in your opinion (economic – mainstreaming museum products and services, educational – reaching broader audiences, social innovation etc.)?
