Creative Europe Call to support cooperation projects related to the European Year for Cultural Heritage 2018

The call supports transnational cooperation projects linked to specific objects of the Year. Cultural Actors are invited to get involved in the Year's activities! Submissions can be made by 22 November 2017.

"Today, we are taking another step to making the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 a reality (…) We are looking for projects that will highlight the European dimension of our rich cultural heritage in all its forms. As President Juncker said in his <link http: europa.eu rapid press-release_speech-17-3165_en.htm>State of the Union Address, we must celebrate cultural diversity in 2018." said Tibor Navracsics, Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sports.

To shape a sense of belonging to a common European space and promote cultural heritage as a source of inspiration for contemporary artistic creation is the goal of this call.

The total funding made available for heritage projects dedicated to the call is 5 million Euro.
It is published in parallel with the 2018 general call for support of smaller- and larger-scale European cooperation projects in the field of culture with an expected budget of 40 million euro, for which cultural heritage –related projects will be eligible, too.

The deadline for submission is 22 November 2017. The start date for successful projects should be between January and September 2018, with the maximum duration of a project being 24 months.
