NEMO at the 9th meeting of the EC Expert Group on Cultural Heritage

From 21-22 March 2023, NEMO attended the 9th meeting of the European Commission’s Expert Group on Cultural Heritage in Brussels, Belgium.

NEMO Policy Officer Elizabeth Wilde joined the meeting that covered the upcoming EIT Culture & Creativity KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Community), the energy crisis, disaster risk management as well as culture and wellbeing.

The second day included, among others, a presentation by Europeana on the Dataspace and ICOM presented its emergency Red list for Ukraine as part of discussions on illicit trafficking of cultural heritage objects.
