These developments pose serious challenges to the sector’s ability to serve communities, safeguard heritage, and invest in innovation.
As a first milestone in NEMO’s commitment to the EU-funded SHIFT programme, the Executive Board adopted a new Environmental Policy that will guide the network’s work towards greater sustainability.
The Board also advanced preparations for two important events in NEMO’s calendar: the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the NEMO European Museum Conference 2025 ‘Who cares? Museums, wellbeing, and resilience,’ taking place from 26–28 October in Horsens, Denmark. Both events will bring members and partners together to exchange knowledge, set priorities, and explore how museums can strengthen wellbeing and resilience in society.
