Upon invitation, NEMO spoke at the conference “Filling Blind Spots. Placing Ukraine on Europe’s Cultural Map”, which was organised by OBMIN from 3-6 July 2023 in Warsaw, Poland. NEMO digitally joined a panel on setting up museum projects and accessing financial support for Ukrainian museums.

NEMO was represented by its Project Coordinator Margherita Sani, who delivered an online presentation on the topic of international collaboration between museums as well as cooperation opportunities funded by the European Union. A recording of the trilingual - Polish, Ukrainian and English - conference will be made available on YouTube.

OBMIN is an association of 49 museums from every part of Ukraine. For more than a year, the OBMIN foundation has been supporting the museums suffering as a result of the Russian aggression on Ukraine. The conference was the biggest meeting to date for representatives of Ukrainian culture in Poland since the war broke out. Delegates from over 40 Ukrainian museums joined the event, which also welcomed Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Culture Anastasiia Bondar.
