On 5 November 2024 at NEMO’s 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM), new members of the board were elected for the upcoming term.

Three seats of the NEMO Executive Board were open for the 2025-2027 term. Out of the four candidates, NEMO members re-elected Sergio Servellón (ICOM Belgium), who stood for re-election. The other two seats were filled by Zane Grīnvalde (Latvian Museums Association) and Sandro Debono (Department of Arts, Open Communities and Adult Education, University of Malta).

NEMO welcomes the new board members and would like to thank Liv Ramskjær (Norwegian Museums Association) and Dagmar Ingi (Estonian Museums Association) for their invaluable contributions during their terms on the board.

In addition to the elections, participants of the online AGM also got to learn about NEMO’s recent activities, progress and future plans. They got an overview of the budget, upcoming projects and a sneak-peak of the NEMO European Museum Conference 2024 'Can we talk? Museums facing polarisation', taking place 10-12 November in Sibiu, Romania. Members were also the first to learn that NEMO's strategic priority for 2025 will centre on wellbeing, health, and sustainable communities.
